8 Data Security

9 Data Retention

okabet retains your personal data only for as long as is necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by applicable Philippine law and regulatory guidelines. The following general retention periods apply:

• Account data: Retained for the duration of your account and for a period of five (5) years following account closure, in accordance with PAGCOR regulatory requirements and applicable AML obligations.
• Transaction records: Financial transaction records are retained for a minimum of five (5) years from the date of the transaction, as required by the Anti-Money Laundering Act and related regulations.
• Identity verification documents: KYC documents are retained for the duration of your account and for five (5) years following account closure.
• Customer support records: Records of support interactions are retained for three (3) years from the date of the interaction.
• Marketing data: Marketing preferences and consent records are retained until you withdraw your consent or for three (3) years from your last interaction with okabet marketing communications, whichever is earlier.
• Technical and usage data: Log files and usage data are retained for up to twelve (12) months for security and analytics purposes, after which they are deleted or anonymized.

When personal data is no longer required, okabet will securely delete or anonymize it in accordance with our data disposal procedures. Anonymized data — which can no longer be linked to any individual — may be retained indefinitely for statistical and research purposes.

11 Children's Privacy

The okabet Platform is strictly intended for adults aged 21 years and older. okabet does not knowingly collect personal data from any person under the age of 21. The 21+ age requirement is a strict regulatory requirement under Philippine gaming law and is enforced through our account registration and KYC verification processes.

If okabet becomes aware that personal data has been collected from a person under the age of 21, we will immediately suspend the relevant account, delete the personal data in question, and take appropriate steps to prevent further access to the Platform by that individual.
